Finding Unwanted Diamonds and Gemstones
This post is being written with the perspective of that guy who is new to the sparkling world of diamonds and gemstones, who is totally innocent of the ways of diamond and gemstones business, but would like to make an extra little bit by selling the gemstones he has got but he does not need. If you are that guy, then this is for you.
You are probably lost, and that sort of happens when you need quick cash. You don’t know where to start. I’ll tell you where – start out by gathering all those pieces of jewelry and gemstones that you have in your possession but have forgotten about so long before that it is an operation in itself to rescue them and put them into use. Let’s take a tour through the whole thing.
Start with the obvious. First, the family jewelry box that has been lying at the bottom of that trunk since only God knows when.
Second, the safe deposit box where you put valuable you don’t use but need to keep safe. This also includes safe deposit boxes of relatives that contain things you might have inherited when you were a minor. Get them all together and do an inventory. You will be surprised at the number of things you had and didn’t even think about.
Then take a cold, hard look at the jewelry you have with you, things you wear every day, and ask yourself if you need the thing, or rather the cash those unwanted diamonds and gemstones would fetch you.
Now here is another source that most people would not tell you about. I am talking about whatever remains after those failed marriages or broken engagements. Only you can tell where that jewelry went. Call me cold; call me money minded, but more than half the marriages in this country end on the rocks. Imagine the number of stones sitting at the bottom of flower vases and aquariums that, for one thing, are not fetching any interest, and are not even working as a possession. You’d be much better off letting them go.
Anyway, it’s up to you. So, make your choices and come up with all those unwanted diamonds and gemstones you want to sell, and wait for my next post.
