Length-to-Width Ratio ("L/W Ratio") equals Length (L) divided by Width (W), calculating how relatively square or rectangular a gem appears when viewed from the top. For example, a 6.00x4.00x3.00mm (LxWxD) cushion cut stone has a L/W Ratio of 1.50 (6.00/4.00). Our images always display the correct L/W ratio so that you can see the shape of the gem - so choose what looks pleasing to you, but note that any L/W ratio of 1.05 or less will appear perfectly square to the naked eye.
